This couple live in Sheffield, and so timed their pre-wedding shoot for when they were down in London – perfect for their very British inspired wedding which we are photographing in June! They put a lot of thought into what they wore, deciding to dress quite smart and incorporating the red, white and blue theme of their wedding. We also found some very fitting locations such as a British themed fish and chip shop and a red telephone box. They had a great time playing up to the camera and being silly, so we got some really fun shots!

London Wedding Photographer, Engagement Shoot
For location shoots, we love to take photos at the client’s house, however a common concern is that their home isn’t photogenic enough! This really is rarely the case and we can usually get great photographs in any home. The best thing is that the shoot will be really personal to them, and being in a familiar place can make it a much more relaxing experience for the customer.
This Kids of Sunninghill shoot is a great example of how we can get beautiful photographs home. Like others before her she was also worried that her house would not look interesting enough for the photos. We visited a few different locations with them, and when it came to the ordering session, mum and dad’s favourite photos were the home ones!
We really enjoyed the shoot as this family are a local client who have been coming to us for a few years now. They took part in the Cherubs baby club for their first child, and have just started it again with their new addition. They really wanted their children to feature in the charity Kids of Sunninghill book, and so they also signed up to this new scheme!
It was a really fun shoot and we really managed to capture the personalities of each of their children well. Their 3 year old son was really active and boisterous throughout, playing with his toy swords. In a complete contrast we got some very sweet photos of his baby sister playing in amongst some yellow flowers, and these are the two that will end up in our Kids of Sunninghill book.

We shot a beautiful wedding last weekend at the Tithe Barn in Peterfield. Its a brilliant venue to do everything in one place, and was made even more special with the thought and effort that had been taken into the decor that Julia and Mark had chosen. The natural themes such as wild flowers, twine, lace and candles had been used beautifully, included my personal favourite – a wooden place settings board with little label tags hanging off of different door handles!
They also got a lot of fun elements into the wedding, such as wigs for their guests to dress up in, kites to fly and Star Trek themed table names! The fun and natural style of the wedding suited our style of photography beautifully, so here are a few of our many favourite photos.

The double page spread featured some of our favourite civil partnership photographs, along with tips on how to get started in the photographic industry. As its a specialise area for us, it’s brilliant for us to have gained recognition for our civil partnership photography in a national publication.

This couple really wanted to get married on the beach, however unlike in the US (where you can marry anywhere) this isn’t really something that’s possible in the UK. Instead they decided to have their pre-wedding engagement shoot on the beach, and so we met them one evening on the coast of West Whittering.
As we got there early we took the opportunity to discuss details of the big day and also took photos where you can see their faces. However, the moment we were all waiting for was when the sun set, casting a glorious golden light over the beach, allowing for some great silhouettes. They were a really funloving couple and had a brilliant time getting wet and rolling around in the sand. By that time the tide was quite far out, but there were many water pools dotted around and so we used them to get some reflection shots.

Bookings for our exciting new Kids of Sunninghill project are now coming in thick and fast, and we’ve been very lucky with all the fantastic weather we have had recently. This particular shoot was a real pleasure to photograph as they are a previous customer of ours who are always incredibly supportive of local charities, and so when we told her about Kids of Sunninghill she was eager to sign up straight away!
We photographed her three children in and around their stunning home in Sunningdale. Their garden had lots of different aspects to it and so it was really easy to find interesting places to photograph. As well as many group shots we also ventured inside and photographed them individually in their bedrooms which provided a little glimpse into their interests and personalities. We are doing a special offer for Kids of Sunninghill customers for a 20 page book of images, which appealed to them as there were so many images they loved that they just could not cut down!

The wedding season is now getting underway and we had a beautiful start to it with a pre-wedding engagement shoot at Kew Gardens. As a couple, this is a place they love to visit regularly and had even considered as a possible venue for their wedding. Although they decided against this in the end they still felt it was important to try and incorporate it into their celebrations in some way, and so this photo shoot was the perfect opportunity! It was a fun and relaxed photo session and the wonderful spring sunshine really added to the beauty of the shoot. The colourful backdrops of flowers and trees were just magical and it was easy to get some great shots!
