We are really pleased to announce the return of our popular Portrait Days – free photo shoots on location for one day only. This time the location is The Oakley Court, Windsor and it will take place on Fathers Day, Sunday June 17th, 2012.
This is a great idea for Fathers Day and you can make a whole day of it by not only enjoying a free photo shoot at Oakley Court, but you can also get 10% off their fantastic Sunday Carvery by booking a shoot with us. All who dine at the Hotel can also then use their golf course, tennis courts and croquet lawn free of charge. The perfect day for all Dads!
To take part simply call us to pick your time slot and we will talk you through the rest.
Spaces are limited and this will be the only event of this nature we will be running this year – so book now! Call 01344 870033 to book or email hannah@artisstudios.com
This wedding blog is an extra special one as it is about our wonderful employee Amy and, her now husband, Dan. We have been hearing about the build up to this wedding for quite a few months and when the day arrived we were pleased to see that everything was perfect – all the preparation paid off!
The wedding ceremony took place at the gorgeous Pencarrow House and Gardens, in Bodmin, Cornwall and then the reception was held in a Marquee at Dans grandparents house. The ceremony had always planned to be outside and I know that the week before the wedding when we had constant rain started putting doubts in the couples mind as to whether the ceremony would actually take place outside. Luckily the sun shone through and the ceremony was fantastic outside with the couple standing in front of a gorgeous wall of wisteria.
Dan looked incredibly handsome and Amy looked amazing. They were incredibly cute together and it is clear that they are made for each other! We stayed at Pencarrow for a few hours after the ceremony to utilise the gorgeous grounds for lots of photos and we stopped in a bluebell meadow on the way out to get some great bride and groom photos.
At the reception the couple had laid out lots of garden games that was popular with all the kids and adults. The meal then consisted of an amazing hog roast and then onto lots of partying and dancing well into the evening. The style of the whole day was fantastic and really showed the couples creativity (although we’re pretty sure Amy had plenty of inspiration from some of our other weddings that she has worked on!).
We were truly honored to be asked by Amy and Dan to shoot their wedding. Both are accomplished photographers and have a lot of friends and family who are also professional photographers, so we felt flattered to be chosen. We were really welcomed by the whole family and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.
We hope Amy and Dan enjoyed the day as much as we did and look forward to seeing them after their honeymoon!
