There’s no perfect age—it’s about the right moment for them. Many clients book around milestones such as turning 13 or 16, graduating secondary school/high school or University.

It can also be a time when you want to capture your teenager growing and maturing into their own identity. These sessions celebrate who they are now and are a fantastic transition point between being a child and evolving into an adult.

We tailor every session to suit your teen’s personality. Whether they’re confident and expressive or more reserved, we take time to build rapport, guide them gently, and let them relax into the session. Most leave feeling surprised by how much they enjoyed it.

All shoots have a pre-shoot consultation where we chat through ideas, visions, answer questions (usually around what to wear) and make suggestions. During the shoot we allow plenty of time to relax into the session and work around the teen, whilst incorporating their parents wishes too.

Absolutely. Outfit changes help bring variety to the session and allow us to capture different sides of their personality—from casual and natural to stylish and editorial. We’re happy to help plan outfits in advance to keep the look polished and cohesive.

Yes—all of our images are enhanced to a high, editorial standard that highlights your teen at their best. We do natural, cosmetic retouching where needed—such as smoothing skin or softening temporary blemishes—while keeping their features and personality authentic. The result is polished, timeless, and true to them.

Yes—these are some of our favourite shoots! Whether it’s ballet, rugby, music or gaming, showcasing a passion is a beautiful way to capture your teen as they are right now. We will discuss this before the shoot, but let us know what matters to them, and we’ll incorporate it creatively.

Teenage portrait sessions typically last around 60–90 minutes. We allow plenty of time for outfit changes, moving around (if on location), and a relaxed pace that encourages confidence and ease. There is also the option to extend to a half day shoot (3 hours), which is perfect if we have any specific ideas, want to explore multiple locations or incorporate more of the family.

Yes—many parents and siblings like to join for a few portraits, especially to mark a coming-of-age milestone. These moments can be deeply meaningful and are always optional. We can discuss whether upgrading to a longer shoot would work to allow everyone plenty of time.

Sessions can be held at our studio, at your home, or at an outdoor location that feels authentic to your teen. We’ll help you choose a setting that matches the style and feel you’re going for.

This is completely up to you.

The session fee is £75 and includes the time for your shoot and preparation.

After your shoot we arrange a viewing session (approximately 2 weeks after) we will go through your perfected and enhanced images.

The image collections range between £150 and £2195 and always include a digital copy of every image you buy. Most clients invest between £500–£2000, depending on what they love. We’ll walk you through everything at your viewing appointment and help tailor your packages.
